Purohit at Nashik

Family and Social Information
We have been performing traditional priestly services at Ramkund, on the banks of the Godavari River in Nashik, for generations. Our family has been engaged in priesthood since the time of our ancestors, beginning with Bapu Bhat Panchakshari, even before our great-grandfathers’ era.
We maintain a record of Gujarati yajmans (patrons) that dates back approximately 150 years. We are the sixth generation performing priestly services at Ramkund. Devotees from all over India visit us. As per our family tradition, we conduct various religious rituals strictly according to Vedic scriptures.
We perform rituals such as Asthi Visarjan (immersion of ashes), Dashakriya (tenth-day rites), Panchak Shanti, Tripad Shanti, Terava (thirteenth-day ritual), Varsh Shraddha (annual memorial rite), Pitrudosh Nivaran Shanti, Narayan Bali, Tripindi Shraddha, and Mahalaya Shraddha.
We also conduct various Shanti rituals including Janana Shanti (birth-related rites), Janana Yoga Shanti, Kalsarp Shanti, and Mangal Shanti.
